What skills and experience will you need for this role?
Telecom / Cable Billing domain is a mandatory.
Good hands on experience in Manual testing/Functional Testing
Good hands on experience on BSS modules like Order Management, Provisioning, Order Decomposition, Order Fulfillment, CRM, SOAP UI Testing, Product Catalog, Rating Catalog, Rating, OCS, Pre-Paid Billing, Post-paid Billing, Billing, BSS E2E Testing
Familiarity in working with scripting languages such as KSH, TCL (is desirable), SQL / PL SQL scripting language, SOAP UI, Shell/Perl/Python etc.
Good communication Skills and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel & work in Shifts as per business demands
Roles & Responsibilities
What’s in the scope of this role?
Read through SRS/SA/UIS/HLD/DLD’s to understand the feature (s) assigned
Write Test cases, test conditions, pre-requisites
Attend handoff from development/IT for the enhancement
Identify and resolve issues during the test execution
Provide inputs to make decisions regarding builds to be taken in from development or patches needed
Provide status of testing for the enhancements owned
Participate as needed in project closure activities
Work with Test Lead on Continuous process improvements
Providing accurate daily status report to Test Lead/Release QA POC/PM
