Working with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Developers to ensure user stories have
the required level of detail and user acceptance criteria
Manual testing of new features to ensure they meet requirements and quality standards
Software change verification testing including the ability to analyze and report on test results
Exploratory software testing
Functional test case design and documentation
Creating, modifying, and maintaining manual test suites
Carrying out manual regression testing of new releases
Contributing to and supporting a variety of test phase efforts
Help define our quality processes and implement a lean-agile approach
Find efficiencies through process automation, environment management, and systems analysis
What You Bring to the Table
Degree (or equivalent/other), education/training preferably in computer science or related subject
At least 2 years experience as a QA analyst working in a mission-critical, complex systems environment
Strong communication skills and teamwork
Agile, Six Sigma, or other quality maturity methodology
Demonstratable Manual validation and verification testing experience including full end-to-end from requirements, the ability to analyze, compile tests, run the tests, raise defects, and report on test results
Understanding of Financial Markets trading and trade processing terminology
Experience with a smaller, fast-paced technology firm
Experience working for SaaS/managed services-based products
Ideally, have an understanding of the Fixed Income trading world and how both market makers and market takers will look to use technology to trade
Familiarization with FIX protocol and, as a bonus, how it is used in Fixed Income electronic trading
