This position is responsible for developing and executing formal test plans/test scripts to ensure the delivery of quality software applications or data repository releases. Involved in test planning, writing test cases, developing test scripts, test case automation and test execution. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status. Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation or data repository requirements and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the needs of the business. Extensive understanding of various standards of Systems Development Life Cycle processes and the integration points of the Testing Life Cycle processes within it are required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze BI Reports and Dashboards to ensure that client data and report outputs are in sync
Research and document the root cause for output issues. Identifying which areas are not in sync
Verify that corrections have been made by development prior to the release cycle
Work closely with product owners, engineers, and team members to identify areas and methods to help improve testing efficiency, expand coverage, and increase product reliability
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal staff
Manage tasks to meet the assigned project dates
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
College degree in Computer Science and/or 7+ years equivalent experience required
7+ years with ETL testing Need strong database knowledge SQL and MySql, queries and tables.
(Experience in BI/DW implementations a plus)
Strong Knowledge on data warehousing concepts needed
Knowledge testing or working with SSAS Tabular Cube using DAX
Familiarity using BI reporting tools (PowerBI preferred)
Ability to work independently and experience solving complex problems.
Strong communication skills, strong back-end testing, Strong back end ETL testing
Experience in the real estate industry with specific experience in utilizing property management is a plus
