Job Description

Seeking a talented QA Automation Architect to design Automated testing procedures for applications.
In this role, will be responsible for analysing the functionality of applications and designing industry standard automated solutions.

Should possess advanced programming skills, hands-on with latest Automation tools and framework designs principles, good perspective towards quality of solutions provided, good understanding of Automation strategies, processes and standards, efficient and effective reusable designs to solve business needs and optimise testing team’s effort on manual procedures.

Primary Skills:
Identifying and selecting the automation test cases
Applying various designs and documenting the automation test strategy
Creating an automation test plan and strategies
Configuring Selenium Test Environment (STE)
Excellent knowledge in OOPS programming concepts and experience in programming languages like advanced Java, Javascript, HTML, XML and Json
Adept at using Eclipse / IntelliJ IDEA, Junit/TestNG, Maven/Gradle, GIT, BDD - Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver and Appium
Good understanding of CI/CT systems like TFS, ADO, Jenkins, Bamboo, Teamcity
Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running the test scripts
Designing frameworks for Web, Mobile and API technologies
Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews.
UI and/or API level test automation expertise
Managing the changes and enhancements while executing regression tests
Interacting with customers/clients to provide best solutions for daily challenges
Strong and effective communication skills, with an ability to delegate
Experienced in implementing testing and QA frameworks for Web Applications using Agile methodologies.
Cross-cultural and cross-functional working experience
Experience in designing frameworks and provide Demos & PoC on new tools
Institutional standards and best practices for software configurations, documentation and testing
Need to brief business leaders on the opportunities afforded by automation
Should have knowledge to measure and present quantifiable Automation KPIs & ROI
Good knowledge on development methodologies, Agile, business processes and project management
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Experience in training testing team on Automation tools and usage

Secondary Skills:
Database testing experience
.NET C# programming skills
Automating API/Web Services/Micro-Services

Good to Have:
Automation Certifications if any - CAP, CSTAA, CSTAS
