We are looking for a highly-skilled test automation engineer to design automation tests.
Responsibilities:
Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
Design and create test conditions, test data and test scripts to address business and technical use cases.
Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function.
Develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium.
Attending Agile meetings (Daily scrum meeting/Sprint planning/Backlog refinement) on assigned projects
Providing results to project managers/developers/manual testers and stakeholders
Reviewing the Test Reports and Preparing Test Summary Report.
Reporting any defects / Observation on day to day basis
Involving in giving daily and weekly status reports to senior managers.
Inspecting Elements, Create Test Cases using Element locators and Selenium WebDriver Commands.
Enhance Test cases using Java Programming and JUnit / TestNG Annotations.
Knowledge transfer to the newly recruited personnel.
Requirements & skills:
Previous work experience as a automation test engineer
Strong Knowledge in Selenium is mandatory.
Knowledge of programming script languages such as Java and VBScript.
Detailed information about application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Knowledge & Experience on JIRA tool is a must
Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple, diverse projects simultaneously
