Reporting to the QA Automation Manager, work closely with IT teams, Business Operations and Project teams to ensure quality deliverables to the Apex business
Participate analyis and design sessions to create test scenarios for input into test deliverables
Create and execute test plans from business requirements and technical designs, maintain test data
Automate end to end, Integration test, Smoke test, User acceptance tests
Propose implement improvements that results in increased efficiency and reduced risks
Must have the following:
10+ years Software QA experience, with at least 6+ years as a Automation QA Engineer/Lead
A confident self-starter with a can do, will do attitude and ability act on own initiative
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills and ability to negotiate at all levels
Able to multi-task prioritise, and manage and coordinate with globally dispersed technical and non-technical teams
Good all-round IT Quality Assurance background from preferably a number of industries
Good understanding of cloud (Azure) technologies, infrastrcture, networks, firewalls etc
Be very flexible as tasks and responsibilities may change
Hands on experience in multiple test automation tools including website, windows and cloud based Citrix (Xenapp)applications and API automation
Work with devops team to deploy automation tests; Experience integrating test with a CI/CD pipeline
Technical knowledge of automation testing and proficiency in writing Java script code in a selenium based automation framework
Knowledge of Scripting and programming in Java, Perl, Python, Shell and similar languages
Strong SQL Knowldege
Exposure to RPA tool Automation anywhere, UiPath
Good knowledge of Jira or similar issue management tools
Remain upto date and analyses new and emerging technologies tools and applicability to field
Ability to conduct root cause analysis
Nice to have:
Worked in IT in a Financial Services organisation
Finance / Funds Administration exposure
Understanding of Citrix infrastructure, including Application Layering
Reasonable understanding of infrastructure, hardware and networks
ITIL, ISO 27001, SOX compliance or similar IT Service Management /QA /Auditing processes
