We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer with about 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team full time. Ideally, we would like someone to work from our Dharamshala office.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in test automation
Working knowledge of C# and OOP, writing test cases in Selenium using C# OR Java
Having worked on at least 2-3 automation projects in Selenium
SOAP/REST/JSON/XML/XSLT/XPath/CSS
Experience with Git/TFS, Maven, SVN
Understanding of CI (Jenkins, TeamCity)
Experience in Agile software development is a must
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong soft and technical skills
Experience in communication with client
Problem-solving and analytical thinking, proactive and initiative taking
Ready to work in US EST time zone when required
Other languages are nice to have
Responsibilities
Developing automation frameworks
Developing reusable test assets.
Responsible for hands-on development that uses good object-oriented designs and domain modeling.
Manage and maintain a complex set of automated test assets including automated scripts, test framework components, test data and test servers.
Ability to develop and design automated test strategies for functional, non-functional and performance testing that helps increase testing coverage and reduce overall testing cycle times.
Work with business/developers to define requirements
Analyze test results and report defects
Proactively ensure system stability, performance, accuracy and overall quality
Planning and executing the transition from manual test coverage to automated testing
Participate in refining and extending the core testing framework, or work on creating a new framework from scratch
Client interaction – Provide clear and precise documentation and communicate updates with clients in English
