Ensuring overall quality of the deliverables and test sign off will be the key responsibility.
Responsible for Defining QA strategy, approach, execution and report for the projects.
Responsible for Leading and directing the QA leadership team.
Provide leadership and technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance.
Monitoring of all the QA activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes.
Be an escalation point for all matters related to testing and quality assurance and operate as a primary point of contact for the QA teams.
Work with different groups like Ops, Software Development, Pre-sales to develop and execute QA strategies to meet and exceed department and corporate quality goals.
Who you are
6 - 8 years experience in QA & automation.
Experienced in Selenium and other automation framework
Experience of Web Automation using SELENIUM web-driver.
Experienced in Cucumber.
Exposure on Agile Methodology
Experience with SQL queries
Strong in testing process and defect life cycle.
Strong in analytical and debugging issues.
Strong in Java, Data structures, OOPS concepts and its applications
Good to have experience in E-Commerce domain.
Experience in Eclipse or IntelliJ, JUnit, Maven, TestNG, POI and respective open source tools.
Experience in performing feasibility, compatibility test prototyping for various features.
Should be able to work as an Individual Contributor for better QA practices, Automation of routine tasks.
Experience in Defect tracking tool JIRA (or similar) bug life cycle management tool.
Should have configured or managed Jenkins jobs for Automation suites.
Education
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in specific technical fields like computer science, math, statistics preferred; or equivalent practical experience.
