Job Summary:
We are looking for a Automation Tester to assess/lead the software quality through automated testing, will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches and must have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Involvement with quality assurance stage of product development and deployment.
Conduct automation tests to ensure the product created by developers is fit for purpose.
To find bugs and issues within a product before it gets deployed to everyday users.
To work closely with the key stakeholders of the product and improve the quality of the product
Developing sprints and testing new features, act as second line support for queries from end users.
Developing test cases , manual and automated
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or a Master’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
1-3 years of relevant work experience.
Strong knowledge of software Agile methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in Selenium-node-webdriver, Puppeteer or any other Javascript based testing frameworks are mandatory.
Selenium Java (Hands on experience from Framework creation till script maintenance)
API testing - Postman (Hands on experience with minimum months of experience)
Performance testing (Hands on experience with minimum months of experience)
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with functional testing, load testing, system testing and cross platform testing
Mandatory 1+ yrs hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JMeter
Hands-on experience of testing mobile apps and web based applications
Solid knowledge of writing SQL queries and debugging on Google Chrome Console
Experience of working in an Agile / Scrum development process.
Prior Experience in a SaaS startup will be preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead
