Key Responsibilities:
The QA Automation Lead will be responsible for providing domain technical expertise on QA Automation, Performance Testing and CI/ CD.
This role will be responsible for the architecture strategy and oversee development and maintenance of enterprise automation, performance and CI/ CD framework.
Serve as a domain expert in defining and rolling out testing standard for Web application and API using Selenium.
The QA Automation Lead will prepare and present status updates and test results across groups of stakeholders.
Develop, maintain and execute automation tests to ensure sufficient test coverage
Develop high quality automation test engineering best practices, test strategy and principles Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and/or procedures to determine product quality or release readiness
Produce statistics and metrics on QA testing to drive improvement, quality and increased productivity based on the metrics to the Management and involving teams.
Participate in automation script code reviews and provide guidance on their compliance with automation best practices
Interact with the product delivery team; participate in product requirement/design reviews to provide input on completeness of functional requirements, product designs, and schedules
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies Provide process improvement recommendations.
Requirements
A total experience of 6 to 10 years into testing; Also experience in leading a team is required.
Proven experience into building automation framework.
Experience in configuring QA CI/CD pipelines is a must.
Experience in building and implementing testing strategies, developing test plans, risk-assessment/risk-based-testing as well as defect management.
Experience planning and executing the preparation and build of test data using automated to minimize testing downtime.
Experience with high level communication across senior leadership.
Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical resources as well as mentoring Agile team members across multiple product teams.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to shifting priorities and think outside the box to resolve issues.
2 to 3 years of experience in Automation test lead. Strong in basics and best practices in used in test automation and scripting.
Master Data Objects + Integration Experience in using tools like Cucumber will be an added advantage.
Able to read, write and speak English proficiently, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical co-workers and/or customers.
Exceptional problem solving, analytical and organization skills with a detail-oriented attitude.
Able to work in fast paced project cycle by adapting to ambiguous project objectives, changing requirements, and re-prioritized testing focus.
Able to meet project related deadlines and have a strong sense of urgency.
Experience and knowledge of software development (in Java, Ruby or Python) is mandatory
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
