The following will be the candidates key focus areas:
- Monitor, maintain and improve QA processes and practices
- Be involved in the firm guilds to follow the latest trends and adopt innovative, beneficial changes
- With a hands-on approach to implement QA processes right from requirement analysis through test design, automation and execution
- Passionate around automating testing including frontend/backend applications
- Being comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Awareness of the latest technologies and tools
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source and in house technologies and tools
- Collaborate with Developers, Business and multiple global stakeholders to drive QA agenda & standards by engaging with them throughout the SDLC
- Communicate key issues and progress updates in a regular, accurate, timely fashion

You will
- Drive the testing activities in the department
- Apply best practices and long-term solutions to maintain and improve quality, increase productivity and shorten time to market
- Monitor and improve UI/backend automation processed with BDD methodology
- Develop the test automation framework
- Keep in touch with stakeholders and other QAs in order to share best practices
You have
- Knowledge of development tools: IDE (e.g. IntelliJ / Eclipse), version control system (e.g. Git, Bitbucket), build tool (e.g. Gradle / Maven), build system (e.g. Jenkins / TeamCity)
- Knowledge of testing tools: test management tool (e.g. ALM, Xray), unit test development tool (TestNg / Junit), UI test tools/library (Selenium), BDD framework (Cucumber)
- Ability to implement, maintain improve end to end UI / backend automation test processed
- Excellent in test strategizing, planning, estimation, execution and reporting
- Working knowledge of Agile, DevOps and related tools (such as: JIRA Agile/Scrum Boards)
- Fluent communication skills in English
You might also have:
- Knowledge of Web Services, XML, REST, SOAP, JSON
- Experience with traditional RDBMS schema concepts and SQL (Sybase, DB2)
- People Management skills
- Knowledge of financial services.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
