Job Description

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering/ Masters in Computer Science (OR) any equivalent degree
10–12 years of experience
Atleast 3-4 years of experience in leading/ managing a QA/Automation projects

Job Overview
As a QA/Automation project manager, take responsibility of quality & automation for  web applications on non-desktop environment. This includes managing multiple small teams/projects, communication with multiple stake holders including internal clients/ management/HR & admin, drive team towards achieving organization goals at project level, focus to continuously add value with the team by developing potential QA/automation solutions and collaborate with other stake holders to bring in best practices to the team

Primary Skills
Good experience in managing end to end QA & Automation domain projects in web/mobile applications testing with strong know-how on any programming/scripting language (Python)
Good experience in project management including planning, estimating, execution, monitoring and control of the projects with strong focus on on-time delivery, quality and customer satisfaction
Excellent customer management skills including identifying and addressing customer requirements/needs on priority
Strong team management skills including building new teams, develop existing teams, hiring, handling attrition and retention of talent to suite the business requirements
Good exposure to different testing methodologies & QA exposure and any standard test framework (like pytest, unittest etc)
Being Self-driven, Take accountability and ownership of problems to achieve team goals & ability to collaborate across different teams
Cultivate innovation and drive the team to propose and implement new solutions that can add value to business and customers.
Coordinate with team leads and cross teams to assess requirements and engage in measuring project KPIs, project reviews, status meetings, take proactive and corrective measures to minimize the deviation from plan
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent presentation skills.

Responsibilities and Duties
Manage atleast 10~15 members team in QA/Automation front with focus towards Quality of application
Understand the application/domain end to end, take ownership of group of applications from a QA perspective and develop Test automation scripts
Drive the team to ensure on-time delivery, quality improvement KPIs
Communicate effectively to different stake holders on the project progress at different time lines (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly etc.,) 
Collaborate with customers, other managers, team leads to resolve any team blockers and bring up best practices, solutions 
Responsible for team development and growth including setting goals and objectives, identifying skill gaps, facilitating trainings, career planning, providing regular feedbacks, handling appraisals, managing rewards and recognitions to the team
Responsible for hiring, managing attrition and talent retention for the team.
Responsible for building innovation culture in the team and drive team to bring up new solutions to improve the quality and efficiency
Support Senior Managers in preparing short term & long term project goals as aligned to organizational directions, drive the team to realize the goals
Ready to work with teams in US & attend nightly meetings
