To qualify, we need you to have:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or any technical related field
Experience of 3 - 5 years as a Software Tester or similar role
Experience in manual testing, API & UI test automation
Experience in any Object Oriented Programming Language (preferably Java)
Knowledge of software testing life cycle (Test planning, Test design and execution, Defect Management, Test Reporting)
Hands on experience of Functional, Regression, System, UAT Testing
Excellent defect finding, debugging, root cause analysis capabilities
Good understanding & experience with software development processes such as Scrum, Kanban
Experience with Cloud development processes
Hands on experience of working with Azure DevOps preferred
Knowledge or familiarity with microservice architecture, REST APIs, Container Based Technology desirable
Quick perception, conceptual skills, creativity, and flexibility
Analytical skills and ability to structure, arrange and plan complex work procedures and issues
Fluent in English to get the message across loud and clear
Knowledge of the shipping industry desirable
Zeal to keep up with the industry trends
Your day to day will include:
Participate in the development of applications for ship management software and improve the quality together with our agile development teams
Establish and continuously improve test processes, tools and infrastructure
Create test plans and derive test procedures from product definitions
Define, automate and execute functional and non-functional test cases
Prepare test reports
Develop appropriate test strategies and implement them in the development process
Coordinate & collaborate with various stakeholders
Use experience and problem-solving skills to provide solutions to unique challenges
