Responsibilities:
Embed within an Agile/DevOps team and collaborate on projects
Develop, maintain and configure software that delivers test automation suites that meet our business coverage objectives
Learn and understand the business domain and application architecture
Perform exploratory testing
Take ownership of project and QA deliverables including implementing QA processes right from requirement analysis through test design, automation and execution
Taking part in non-production environment stabilization by developing processes, tools, and monitoring
Qualifications and Experience
3-5 year experience in Software Testing/Development with solid UI or backend test automation skills
Python scripting experience and software development experience in any Object-Oriented language also makes you a good candidate (JAVA preferred)
RDBMS, schema and SQL (Sybase, DB2)
Good Linux skills comfortable in the shell (including scripting)
Understanding software testing practices and principles
Experience with source control and continuous integration tooling such as Git/Stash/JIRA/Jenkins
Strong written and verbal English knowledge to speak to technical and business audiences
Strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills
Experience with any of the following is an advantage: Selenium, Appium, TDD, BDD, Cucumber, nbehave
