Reviewing and analyzing system specifications and executing test scripts and reviewing results and reporting bugs and errors to development teams. Writing, and executing tests (manual and/or automated), monitoring testing progress, reporting status, logging defects, tracking defect fixes and new features
Testing new software features and regression testing existing functionality and to translate functional specifications into testing plans that capture detailed actions.
Use test driven development and scaled agile methods to deliver products to client requirements and to execute test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software applications, including Systems Integration, Regression, and Performance Testing
Familiarity with development practices like Unit Testing, Test-Driven Development and apply Quality Engineering principles throughout the agile life cycle to identify defect and design flaws
Implement JUnit or TestNG Test Automation framework and developing automation infrastructure and in creating and enhancing Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Element locators, WebDriver methods, Java programming concepts and TestNG Annotations in selenium tools and Configuring Selenium Test Environment (Ex: Eclipse IDE, Java, Selenium WebDriver and TestNG etc...)
Your Profile:
3 to 8 years of experience as a quality assurance engineer
Experience in working with various software QA tools and processes and testing techniques such as UI Testing, API Testing & Automation Testing (Selenium with any one of the programming languages) or Webdriver IO.
Experience in working with Agile/Scrum development process and performing regression test for the end-to-end product and solid knowledge of SQL to validate at database level.
Experience with performance and/or security testing and ISTQB certified is plus
Good knowledge on Selenium suite of Tools (Selenium IDE, Selenium RC, Selenium WebDriver and Selenium Grid) and Webdriver IO
