Role: Junior QA Tester
Role Description:
Role played will be that of a Manual QA Tester. A good working knowledge of test management software, programming languages, and QA methodologies. Good team working and critical thinking skills.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 2 years' experience in Software Manual QA testing.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Should be well versed with fundamentals of testing. Should be aware of Testing Life Cycle and SDLC. Should be well versed with requirement analysis. Should be aware of Static and Dynamic testing techniques and tools. Should be aware of the Whitebox and blackbox testing concepts. Should be well versed with Equivalence partitioning and boundary value analysis. Should be aware of Decision table testing and State transition testing.Should be aware of Statement coverage, statement testing, Decision coverage and decision testing.Should be aware of experience based techniques i.e. Error guessing and Exploratory testing.Should be well versed with identifying test conditions and designing test cases.Should be well versed with Smoke and sanity testing Should be well versed with at least one bug tracking tool i.e. Bugzilla, Jira, Redmine etc.Should be aware of Test plans.
SOFT SKILLS
Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written
Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment
Ability to drive project responsibilities in a dynamic and proactive manner
Ability to showcase three Mahindra RISE Pillars e.g., Accepting No Limits, Driving Positive Change and Alternative Thinking
