The Data QA engineer is responsible to ensure the data pipelines, jobs process and transform data as required. S/He should be able to understand and follow data flows and design tests and measures to validate data integrity throighout the ecosystem.
Requirements
The Data QA Engineer should possess skills to evaluate data and data processing systems.
Must be able to develop and use complex SQL statements.
Strong on testing data pipelines and testing data architecture and data mappings.
Expert on GCP BigQuery.
Familiar with GCP virtual machines
Python/Bash scripting - expertise in testing pipelines, manipulate data with one of these scripting languages and potentially write some scripts specifically.
Proven ability to work with users to define requirements and business issues
Experience in reporting and tracking defects, defect lifecycle.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
