Understand product domain and its functionality.
Create comprehensive and well-structured test cases/scenarios.
Testcase execution and testing.
Reporting defects in JIRA and suggest solutions.
Perform thorough regression testing when defects are resolved.
Status reporting to RM and collaborate with the team to ensure consistent execution.
Essential Skills – Abilities
Proven work experience in Software testing and quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of S/W QA methodologies, Testing fundamentals and STLC process.
Strong understanding of SDLC and methodologies.
Experience writing clear, comprehensive and concise test cases/scenarios.
Hands on experience with Black-box testing and grey-box should be added advantage.
Good analytical skill is essential to make the testing work easier.
Well versed with any defect tracking tool and added advantage if test management tool is known.
Experience working in AGILE/Scrum methodology.
Should have basic understanding and knowledge on any Database system.
Automation knowledge will be an added advantage.
Experience with performance and/or security tool will be an added advantage.
