Familiarity with database technologies, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Progress, PostgreSQL, Amazon DynamoDB, Apache Hadoop, etc.
Real-time transactional data pipelines testing, ETL processes testing, Master Data Management testing.
Data flow validation (source data vs target)
Workflow management and scheduling testing.
Basic SQL Skills, scripting (Linux, Unix). Spark and Scala familiarity a plus.
Automates tests and tests own code. Generate test data.
Document test plans, protocols, and reports.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to mentor more junior team members.
Relevant Work Experience:
1-2+ years’ relevant experience with database technologies, such as Oracle, Apache Hadoop, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redshift.
