Responsibilities:
Test Execution:
Test Plans creation (Test Cases / Test Scenarios)
Actual tests execution
QA assessment for new features and functionality planned
Process Management:
Leading initiatives to increase test coverage
Ensuring delivery in accordance with test metrics and defined KPIs
Test Automation (Optional / Learning Opportunity):
Improving testing effectiveness & test coverage
Test Architecture, Design & Maintenance of test automation scripts
Code reviews and taking care of code quality
Knowledge Transfer & Knowledge Sharing:
Mentoring & knowledge sharing within the QA team as well as across organisation
Identifying and harnessing your team members’ skills and abilities
Focusing and prioritising knowledge transfer activities and capturing and transferring knowledge
Requirements:
Strong communication skills and ability to influence others is a must
Background in TDD & automation testing using object-oriented programming; preferable will be an additional asset
Background and experience in writing Test Scripts and Test Scenarios
Knowledge of Postman and REST API and JSON for API driven testing
Knowledge of SQL with focus on MySQL/MariaDB
Experience managing an engineering team on projects with technical deep-dive into code, test automation tools and API driven testing - experience with one of automation technologies like Selenium / Katalon / or Tosca Tricentis
To be successful in this role, you need to have strong experience in manual testing
You will work with business users and development team / other QA engineers – e.g., teams and team members which are not your direct organisation – experience with matrix organisational setup will be beneficial
Experience with cloud environments – preferably Microsoft Azure
Optional knowledge of Azure DevOps will be beneficial
Optional knowledge of Scrum / Kanban knowledge will be beneficial
