As a Q/A Engineer II, you will be responsible for manual testing. Testing the performance, reliability, scalability, security, and functionality of our DDOS mitigation and reporting applications. You will be partnering with technical individuals, teams, developers, and architects. You will deliver world-class applications protecting some of the world's major brands.
As a Q/A Engineer II, you will be responsible for:
Performing manual testing on our security products
Analyzing application, specification, and design documents to determine test scenarios
Designing and building test environments to cover functional and performance test scenarios
Performing the full software QA cycle and gathering specifications for automation as needed in a expeditious environment
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery of security applications
Reducing ever-increasing manual testing by working closely with the automation team to automate as much as possible
To be successful in this role you will:
Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in CS or another related field
Demonstrate experience working on Linux or a Unix-based OS.Familiarity with REST API interfaces and service-oriented architecture
Have good manual testing experience on distributed systems built in various software languages
Possess analytical skills & problem-solving/troubleshooting skills. Experience with shell, Perl, or Python scripting and ability to write database queries
Demonstrate experience testing server-side applications using scripts, databases, logs or messaging systems
Demonstrate the ability to write test plans, test cases, test documentation and bug reports
