Qualification:
- B.E/B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Information Technology, Computer Engineering OR Electronics & Communication
- BCA/MCA
Roles & Responsibilities:
Understand and collect the functional and non-functional requirements from different Stakeholders.
Automation framework development using Selenium, Appium, REST Assured.
Analyze the test results, produce the reports, and present them to the management for critical decisions.
Good understanding of end-to-end application automated testing.
Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
Work experience in Agile development methodology.
Understanding the business & functional requirements of the project
Develop and execute test plan, Strategy, and test case development
Create, review & maintain test scripts for application
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to improve overall product quality by emphasizing defect prevention throughout the software development process
Defect tracking and monitoring it to closure by effective communication with various project stakeholders
Defining various quality matrices
Test data preparation to mimic end-user scenarios
Escalating issues/risks to leads and managers
Gatekeeper for product quality
Raising questions/ambiguities related to requirements
Keeping the test artifacts up-to-date in the central repository
Generate test summary reports where required
Participate in troubleshooting and drive root cause analysis and resolution
Spot areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency
Come up with new and creative ways to test product
Skills/Requirement:
English language proficiency and Excellent communication (verbal/written)
Minimum of 5 years of working experience in quality assurance.
At least two years of experience in Selenium automation tools.
Experience with Agile development.
Experience with JAVA and database debugging.
Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD.
Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Experience with tools like TestComplete, Kobiton, Calabash, Appium, Monkey Talk, EarlGrey, Testdroid, Appium Studio, Robotium, Experitest, etc., is a plus.
Should have thorough knowledge and experience in manual testing of web and mobile application
Strong understanding of API and working knowledge in testing API
Experience & exposure to defect management and test management tools
ISTQB or equivalent certification and knowledge about automation will be an added advantage
Should have good knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Product-based application testing is an advantage
Agile and SCRUM methodology experience
Ability to quickly grasp the application domain and functionality
Critical thinking skills and detail-oriented mindset
Exposure to Automation and Performance testing will be added advantage
Hands-on experience with scripting in Java, Shell, or Python is an add-on
Hands-on experience in using SQL queries during testing
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
