Responsibilities:
Develop test plans and proactive test cases based on requirements.
Involvement in functional, smoke, regression, performance and security testing.
Defect drafting and management.
Test environment setup.
Effective coordination with development and testing team (cross team communication).
Develop business and product knowledge over time and share such knowledge to mentor new team members.
Experience with Agile Scrum practices will add an advantage.
API testing using Postman
Skills:
Knowledge and understanding of testing process and techniques.
Experienced in driving and executing all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) on client-server application.
Hands-on experience with performance and security testing techniques.
Ability to design and execute black box test scenarios.
Documentation skills like documentation of test plan, test cases, checklist, templates, etc.
Familiarity with test management and defect management tools like XRAY, JIRA etc.
Test environment setup – databases like MSSQL and MySQL etc.., operating systems like Windows, Apple, Android etc.
Familiarity with various QA standards in the software industry.
Experience with mobile applications in Android and iOS will add an advantage.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Work well in a team environment or individually, with a test to break attitude and ability to think from the end user’s point of view.
Passionate about delivering high-quality and user-friendly products in a timely fashion.
Good communication skill.
