Responsibilities:
Create and update effective test plans, test scenarios and test cases
Ensure quality of the front-end of applications based on the wireframes and visual design
Perform different types of functional and non-functional testing based on application needs.
Excellent defect logging and tracking (JIRA)
Be part of UAT and ensure that there are no critical defects
Effective use of tools to validate the application (Postman, JMeter, etc)
Test software to ensure responsiveness and accuracy
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Create security and data protection settings
Test features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Write automation test scenarios and test cases
Develop and execute automated test scripts using relevant tools like Selenium/Appium/cypress
Requirements:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science /B.E./B-Tech in any discipline or a related field.
2 + years relevant experience in manual and automation
Exposure in testing both Mobile & web-based applications
Manual testing
Able to create test plans, test scenarios and test cases.
Able to perform multiple types of testing Ex: Functional, UI, Compatibility, API etc
Have good requirement analysis and documentation skills (SRS, User flow etc)
Ability to write use cases and develop user flow diagrams
Exposure to different testing tools like API, performance, security testing
Automation testing
Have exposure to writing automation scripts using JAVA.
Have knowledge of Object-Oriented programming concepts
Have worked on Selenium automation tool
Exposure to building test scripts using Selenium/Appium/cypress
Ability to build/modify automation frameworks
