Job Description

The QA Engineer will be responsible for manual and automated test planning of features, testing and testcase development in the WabtecOne space. As part of this role, the QA Engineer would be working closely with the Functional and Technical leads across various applications, COE, and Infrastructure teams to deliver the right and quality business outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)

A minimum of 6+ years of professional experience

Minimum 2 years working experience on cloud-based applications and on cloud infrastructure.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

Estimate, plan, develop and maintain manual and automated test cases for 24/7 real-time cloud-based applications and on cloud infrastructure

Maintain/re-engineer existing automation framework, enhance and customize them to make them suitable for the product

Extend/maintain current performance scripts

Analyzing business requirements to develop detailed test plans and test strategies

Collaborate with product management and development to deliver functionality that meet requirements

Understand milestones in the release cycle and have high level plans to process the same

Technical Expertise:

A minimum of 6 years' experience in Test Planning, Test case development and Execution

2+ years of experience in automation tool - Katalon /Selenium and Behavior Data Driven Framework

1+ years of experience on Performance testing using JMeter

3+ years of experience in Java

Experience on PostgreSQL database

Experience working on cloud-based applications validation

Possess strong knowledge in various testing like Functional testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, System testing, Compatibility Testing, GUI Testing and API testing (Manual & Automation)

Improving internal processes and tools to increase productivity

Knowledge on CI/CD pipeline.

Experience with scrum or other agile SDLC

Experience on Rail domain is preferred
