Job Description

Primary responsibilities of the QA Engineer will be to support our clients’ CRM needs from a quality perspective. As we migrate existing clients to central platform and onboard new logos, this individual must have experience in both a hosted environment and having knowledge in cloud-based technologies. The individual must have the ability to grow with the company to support the needs of the business today and in the future. Good Communication Skills are critical with high potential in testing and certification protocols. Individual will need to handle quick turnaround deliverables as they are released by development team.
• Responsible for delivering the executable with quality and within time defined, adhering to expected testing standards and industry best practices using STLC.
• High levels of ownership and commitment to deliverables.
• Effective communication with Solutions Management and Account teams with ability to gain clarifications on requirement specifications.
• Participate in various projects and new initiatives; make suggestions as a QA resource involving Database exports/imports, Apps, Tools, APIs, landing pages, as well as performing duties such as documenting test scenarios and reproducing the production issues, and adhering to stringent change control processes. 
• The selected individual will be able to work independently or in a team setting, has an analytical mindset that will collaborate and share knowledge across teams.
• Should have worked in Agile and traditional Project Management methodologies.

Eligibility / Qualification / Certifications:
Required Skill Set:
• 3 years or more experience working as QA engineer in manual and automation testing using Selenium on real time projects.
• Experience in Test plan/Test strategy, hands on experience in Test Scenarios/Test Cases preparation and hosting the Defect triage calls.
• Willing to learn new tools/technologies and good at using the Test Management tools like TestRail/JIRA.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and able to work collaboratively with account team, BSA and other stakeholders.
• Able to identify the potentials risks well in advance and come up with the mitigation plan.
• Experience in providing the walk through the Test Plan/Test Results/Test Scenarios to the account team, BSA and ability to follow-up with stakeholders on the required approvals.
• Self-starter and curious about the latest happenings in the QA world and excited to unlearn the old methods and experiment with new features and technologies.
• Good at Database testing skills (SQL in specific) and knowledge on Windows / Linux OS.
• Should have knowledge on using Postman and SoapUI for API testing.
• Should be familiar with Performance (using JMeter), Regression and Sanity testing.

Good to have and/or added advantage:
• Exposure to other database technologies such as Oracle, Snowflake, MYSQL, Vertica.
• Exposure to AWS technologies, specifically S3, Athena, EMR as well as overall architecture of a hybrid environment. 
• General understanding of CRM methodologies and customer engagement modeling. 
• Basic understanding of an automation script/language such as Java.
