Description:
The QAE is the key person responsible for understanding the domain and software product in detail, driving the test strategy, coming up with the test cases and contributing to test execution and reporting. The ideal candidate would be someone who gets excited about making certain that the user experience is the best possible.
We are looking for a web application testing professional who tenaciously explores bug reports and new feature functionality with a black box/white box testing methodology.
Job Responsibilities:
The QAE would be responsible for creating and executing the test cases and ensure the correctness of the platform functionality. Here is a general list of tasks.
Coordinate and execute manual test activities
Develop and execute Performance testing
Contribute to the automation testing framework by writing test cases, test plans and test reports
Guarantee the quality and the persistence of the software by testing the corrections of bugs and enhancements
Responsible for overall quality of the deliverables
Increasing the efficiency and coverage along with maintenance of existing automated test solutions.
Analysis of automation test results and failures
Good exposure to Functional testing through white box
Creation, upgrade and maintenance of test environments, creation and maintenance of test data
Job Requirements:
The QAE needs to be an extremely bright, articulate and accomplished problem solver, capable of troubleshooting complex software application problems.
Here are some key requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or the equivalent stream is desirable with 2-4 years of QA experience
Strong understanding of web technology and have good experience in web application testing through automation
Hands on Automation testing experience.
Good knowledge in web testing methodologies, creation of test plans, and test automation frameworks and tools
Passion for usability, simplicity and consistency in software testing
Good knowledge of Software testing concepts, SDLC and Defect life cycle
Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills
Good team player, able to work independently in a faced-paced environment
