Reporting to the Infrastructure QA Manager, work with the internal and external Infrastructure teams and vendors to apply QA processes
Define roles and responsibilities with regards to QA to demonstrate end to end Quality Assurance for all infrastructure roll outs, including, but not limited to Azure Cloud, Citrix VDA/VDI, Server patching, Upgrades, Networking, Security, device management, Active Directory, Office 365, AV, GPO's, etc
Ensuring that the defined QA processes are adhered to quality and audit guidelines
Develop Test Strategies that will take the project team through a journey to a successful deployment and implementation for all Infrastructure projects
Working as part of team and working hands on with a number of technology projects in parallel
Skills Required:
5 - 8 years Software QA testing experience, with at least 3 years as a Team Lead
A confident self-starter with a can do, will do attitude and ability act on own initiative
Proactive to learn all new technologies changes, developed accordingly, should be ready to accept challenges
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to negotiate at all levels
Demonstratable experience in running extensive testing exercises with globally dispersed teams
Able to multi-task priorities, and manage and coordinate with globally dispersed technical and non-technical teams
Ability to scope and run extensive acceptance test phases where applicable for global infrastructure roll outs (e.g., Operating System upgrades and Infra Migration/Upgrade)
ISTQB Certification, Test Lead preferable
Good all-round IT Quality Assurance background from preferably several industries
Reasonable understanding of Infrastructure, Cloud, Hardware and Networks
Good understanding of Performance and Automation testing concepts and tools
Good Understanding of Azure Cloud Azure Technologies, Infrastructure, Networks, Firewalls, VPN, Disaster Recovery, Data Center, Load Balancer, FTP, Ports, DFS, NFS, Domains, GPO's, Security’s Groups, Domain\System\User’s level policies, etc
Very good knowledge and demonstrate understanding of Citrix (XenApp) infrastructure (VDA and VDI) environment, including App layering and Microsoft technologies
Good to have Exposer to Security Testing, Server Performance with respect CPU/Memory/DISK/NW utilization, Performance monitoring, Server and Windows Patching for security updates / Upgrade, Antivirus, Symantec WSS, Asset inventory Management tool (e.g. Qualys.)
Have ability to define and drive automation initiatives
Have ability to ensure that internal and external teams adhere to quality and audit guidelines
Have a flexible approach to working hours and tasks as schedules and responsibilities may change
Good knowledge of Jira or similar issue management tools and Zephyr\ServiceNow
