Responsibilities:
Develop test scope, test strategy, test plan, test cases, scenarios, test data and requirement traceability matrix for Radio products & solutions
LTE/LTE-A/5G Feature/functional/performance/capacity/RCT testing for vRAN/ORAN product
Drive test process and deliver test results, defect analysis, corrective action plan and provide go/no-go recommendations post testing on Lab / field test environment
Responsible for acceptance testing of new radio products 4G/5G (small cell , Macro etc - vRAN/ORAN based )
Performance bench marking of RAN products in Lab environment
Understand 3GPP & ORAN standards in-depth for testing compliance against various releases
Identify tests to be automated, drive automation and acceptance framework
Manage defect life cycle including defect creation, tracking, RCA, recommend corrective measures
Develop and review product and software artifacts like release notes, technical bulletins, installation and deployment guides, and create documentation
Skills and experience
Strong experience in LTE/LTE-A/vRAN/ORAN/5G-NR feature/functionality/performance/KPI/capacity/RCT testing
Hands on experience on test tools including UE simulators like TM500 and Keysight, UE debuggers like QXDM, XCAL and TEMS, Application traffic generators like iPerf, IxLoad etc
Strong Knowledge on end to end calls flows and hands on experience in 4G & 5G wireless RAN technologies
Working knowledge of the standards (3GPP, IEEE, IETF, GSMA, etc.) & specifications.
Demonstrate ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, meet deadlines, with the ability to multitask and work concurrently on multiple projects.
Experience in Requirement understanding, Test strategy design, Effort estimation and test report preparation
Hands on experience in test execution, log collection and issue reporting
Good experience in analyzing logs and debugging issues for air interface, S1/X2 interface, multi-vendor Integration and interoperability issues
Proficiency in automated programming of modern RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzer, etc.
