5 years of Software QA Engineer experience
Must have experience with manual data quality testing and also web-based application testing (UI and API)
Ability to construct complex SQL queries to perform backend data validations via Redshift and Aurora PostgreSQL data solutions
Design and develop test plans, test cases and test strategies including functional, integration, and end-to-end ·
Take ownership of end to end data quality.
Identify all the gaps we see when ingesting data (like missing required fields, failed enrichments, etc.) ·
Carry out data profiling, understand schema, data interrelationships and data flows ·
Experience with testing of real-time ingestion processes and validate data transformations for large data sets.
Work closely with our Data Engineers and BA’s to get those things resolved.
Good understanding of Data Lakes, Data Warehouses is a plus Basic understanding of cloud services from any of the Amazon AWS, Microsoft azure, version control systems such as Git and CI/CD workflows ·
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with offshore and onshore teams. ·
Must be flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary ·
Strong critical thinking, problem- solving and analytical skills
