This position is responsible for overseeing all the testing activities at the account level. He / She should be responsible for overseeing the testing of software features as part of a collaborative team and should have experience in web, mobile app (manual/automation) testing, and also in ETL / database testing.
Skills Required
8+ years of experience in manual and automation testing of mobile applications, web applications and APIs and ETL / DB testing
Automation Framework Design and Implementation.
Strong Automation experience like transforming manual tests cases to automated scripts.
Strong experience in System Integration Testing, which involves more than once applications
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
Creating, Enhancing, debugging and Running Test Cases.
Must have 2+ years of experience in application / mobile automation testing and ETL / DB testing
Organizing, monitoring defect management process.
Handling changes and conducting Regression Testing.
Analyze test results and track software-testing metrics.
Review business / software requirements and provide inputs.
Proven documentation, team collaboration and client handling skills.
Any testing certification will be highly desired
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for creating test plans and strategy
Reviews and re-evaluates the test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules
Oversees quality review of various applications
Oversees projects to make sure work is scheduled based on priorities, risks and team strengths and assignment of resources across projects
Oversees implementation and execution of functional, regression, and acceptance tests
Assists in test environment setup/teardown, test automation, and exploratory testing
Oversees the creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation
Provides suitable solutions for issues/errors based on the understanding of the system and client business processes
Leads/mentors Test Engineers and shares knowledge to make sure QA staff meets technical qualifications required for their positions
Assists in coaching junior staff, by helping them to make decisions, solve problems, manage meetings and set goals, provide feedback on testing-related tasks, delegates and assigns testing responsibilities
Assists in formulating QC standards and best practices, organizational policies and processes, and strategic plans
Should be ready to explore and learn new technologies
Should be able to implement new testing methods independently
