QA lead provides oversight and input to all aspects of quality assurance including applying industry best practices, developing new testing solutions and methods, and establishing metrics. Accountable to the client for the QA deliverables and escalation point of contact.
Key Functions/Responsibilities:
Working with internal customers like product management, development, and other engineering functions understanding product requirements, and planning the test artifacts
Provide technical leadership, direction, strategy, and hands-on assistance to other members of the team.
Responsible for all testing activities on assigned projects including definition of testing approach, test effort estimation, progress and status report.
Seeks to continuously improve test processes (Root Cause Analysis, Correction, and Preventions)
Mentor junior QA resources on different technologies, testing skills, and software processes.
Ensures Quality SLAs met
Assist in the recruiting process.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with experience in the field.
Experience:
Minimum 8+ years of experience in quality assurance/testing procedures and testing methodologies.
