This exciting role offers opportunity to:
Own complete responsibility of QA engagement and testing activities for applications in Front End viz. Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, Siebel and Oracle Sales cloud.
Define and implement program-level QA engagement strategies in consultation with IT leaders and program stakeholders.
Define and execute project-level test strategies / plans for multiple large, complex projects/programs to provide consistent and predictable quality outcomes.
Provide thought leadership for capability building in FE QA practices/processes – DevOps, Automation Testing, API Testing and Continuous Testing of CI-CD-CT.
Conduct test progress review meetings and distribute reports, metrics dashboards to stakeholders as appropriate.
Collaborate with developers, project managers, functional analysts, database administrators, and systems integrators for on time delivery with quality.
Actively manage risks, issues, dependencies related to QA.
Leverage standard QA metrics to measure application quality; Enhance QA processes by defining and implementing improvement actions based on insights from metrics.
Make effective use of Eaton standard processes and tools for testing activities.
Evaluate new trends and tools/technologies in QA and adopt them to stay current with technology.
Build organizational capability by developing deep functional knowledge of business processes within QA team for all applications in the portfolio.
Developing communication strategies and leading communications with leaders and key stakeholders globally.
Act as an SME and mentor team members.
Ensure optimum utilization of the team through effective capacity planning for areas of responsibility.
Lead Continuous improvement initiatives related to processes or policies impacting QA for the applications/projects/enterprise.
Qualifications
Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Masters in Computer applications
Minimum of 11-15 years of IT/QA experience
Minimum 5 years of managing QA practice for cloud based applications like Salesforce, CPQ.
Strong functional knowledge for Salesforce application
Solid Experience in Automation using Selenium, Robot Framework or similar tools
Strong knowledge of test tools like Microfocus ALM, Jira and Azure
Experience on API Testing is desirable
Experience of working on CI-CD-CT concepts and related tools like Azure, Jenkins, BitBucket or similar tools would be nice to have
Exposure and experience on programming languages like JAVA and Python
Strong knowledge or experience of setting up or managing mobile device labs, related infrastructure for on-premise and/or cloud labs
Thorough understanding of test automation frameworks and evolving trends
Teamwork, communication, strong interpersonal skills across cultural and organizational boundaries.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively explain technical concepts.
Abreast of upcoming software development/engineering tools, trends, and methodologies.
Good judgment, time management, and decision-making skills.
Thorough understanding of software design principles, algorithms, data structures, would be nice to have
Strong critical thinking, problem solving and software debugging skills.
