• Lead a QA a team of the size of at least 4 to 6 team members
• Identifies, develops, AND documents applicable testing methodologies AND procedures TO ensure quality output.
• Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Ensure quality and on-time project delivery
• Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement
• Provide manual and automation testing estimates during discover and sprint planning phases of development lifecycle
• Prepare the test reports and send it to managers and stakeholders
• Ensure planning, executing, controlling AND closure OF testing assignments AND responsible FOR schedules, Resource allocation and managing testing assignments.
• Execute manual tests as and when required, with focus on automating any manual testing
• Design and develop automated test scripts that ensure applications meet their functional requirements and reduce test cycle time
• Maintain QA environment health and manage release process from development to production
• Provide feedback on both technical and business issues to managers
• Willing to work on all aspects of QA cycle - like integration testing, UAT, regression, test case development, automation etc
• Tracks quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stays up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Prepares and presents reports and metrics to Senior Management
• May require late shift up to 10:30 pm IST to provide overlap with US timings
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills:
Overall work-experience of 10+ years, Strong people management expertise of at least 5+ years in QA management roles.
• Atleast 2-3 years of experience in RPA testing of UiPath or Blueprism robots
• Experience with developing RPA/RDA bots using UiPath or Blueprism
• Experience in using various automation components e.g. Control Room/Orchestrators, Studio, RPA Runtimes, Credential Manager/Vaults...etc.
• Independent, self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented ability to define and provide a high level of customer engagement through the delivery of world-class QA services
• Strong hands-on QA testing, test case creation experience required. Expertise on API level testing, system testing, functional testing, and UI testing.
• Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, procedures, and testing techniques.
• Experience working in Agile software development groups.
• Skilled in software testing methodologies
• Knowledge of JIRA tool
• Very detail oriented with excellent analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with defining and implementing QA practices and procedures.
• Good knowledge of Functional testing, Regression testing, database, SQL.
• Independent and quick learner. Self-motivated, takes initiative, assumes ownership, and runs programs with minimal direction
• Highly proactive and takes initiative to identify problem areas and evolve solutions.
• Experience in functional testing. Should be able to execute test scenarios manually, identify bugs/ issues and report them.
• Experience of working in a team-oriented, collaborative and global environment
• Defines and tracks various relevant metrics. Suggests AND applies the usage of elevant tools, as applicable.
Desired Skills:
• UiPath Development and / or Testing experience
• UIPath certifications
• ISTQB Certified
• Experience in Gherkin/Cucumber in Java.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering in Computer Science /ECE/IT or MCA.
