Job Description

General Responsibilities:
Manages all assigned quality assurance team members while reporting team successes and opportunities to the Director of Quality Assurance and Development
Responsible for the sharing and implementation of best practices across all business units
Responsible for the activities of the Quality Management System
Responsible for time management and operational support
Manages and produces Quality Assurance measures and metrics which report any trends or process improvement opportunities for each project
Manages the training and other required activities for the department

Experience / Qualifications
A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) with at least 7 or more years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience of at least 12 or more years.
Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensures quality assurance, automation and performance testing scripts are developed, modified, and maintained for Agile, MuleSoft, Oracle EBS and Fusion Applications, Oracle Analytics Cloud and Robotic Process Automation products and other technical offerings as needed.
Leads all aspects of testing verification including requirements gathering, feature and functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, load and performance testing, and automation testing working with various cross functional teams.  
Implements software quality processes and tools to enhance the value of testing in support of application development teams.
Provides secondary oversight of the work efforts of developers, infrastructure, security, and technical support teams who are managed by offshore leads.
Collaborates with IT leadership team and various business users to ensure local team members are working effectively to deliver projects, processes and assigned work items in a timely, efficient manner.  

Required Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge of software and database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored jobs, and error replication.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to serve as a liaison with team members, developers, project managers, and customer support.
Exceptional organization, planning, and communication skills; oral, written and presentation
Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment with limited direct supervision
Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise IT processes and experience working with cross-functional information technology groups

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
3+ years of direct people management
3+ years working with Testing as a Service Tools (as listed preferred)
Test Management: Application Life Cycle Management (ALM) ver 12.53
Test Automation: Unified Functional Testing (UFT) ver. 14
Performance Testing: Performance Centre (PC) ver. 12.56
