Job Description

Enhance QA methodology for test and defect management and tools supporting processes.
Maintain defect triage process and continuous defect review in software organization.
Track customer facing issues in customer support tracking tool.
Escalate unresolved issues for suitable customer support level.
Offer continuous improvement by assessing customer issues for root cause and future prevention.
Investigate and explore upcoming new technologies and suggest for enhancements.
Handle diverse team of Quality Assurance specialists.
Assist continuous professional plans of QA team members.
Help in resource allocation and estimation efforts and delegate duties for routine activities.
Assist QA environment team for quality and availability of QA test environment for each product.
Drive the Release Go – NOGO calls and take tough decisions in release quality
Identify themes in quality issues and work with App Dev Managers to prevent issues from happening
Be a Change agent and drive technology upgradation and adoption in the organization
Conduct reviews with India and US leadership teams on team progress and health
Generate various QA reports and dashboards. Help management to take informed decisions

Requirements:
10 + years’ experience in manual & automation testing.
Detail oriented; demonstrated ability to handle multiple strategic projects and priorities with efficiency and accuracy
Strong team management and organizational skills
An inherent drive to solve problems, collaborate with others and mentor team members
Strong presentation, verbal and written skills as proven with well-written technical, project, client and related communications and presentations
Basic understanding of OOP coding concepts
Knowledge of Insurance Industry
Experience with Agile, DevOps, SaFe methodologies
Ability to define problems, collect data, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to manage a broad range of deliverables in an ever-changing environment
Ability to comprehend documentation clearly and effectively
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Analytical - technical aptitude for developing automation
