Responsibilities:
Being very hands-on in terms test planning, test case writing, Test execution, Peer review, Bug reporting besides managing a team of QAs
Translating requirements and test designs into test artifacts (test cases, automation scripts, test plans) for the product functionality implemented.
Lead the quality assurance bets practice in the department, including test strategy and Test plans
Participates in estimation of automation deliverables for product features per requirements during SDLC phases.
Follow and meets established design patterns and standards
Design and define acceptance tests and automation to meet established acceptance criteria.
Produce testing and Bug reports
Assist with automation test planning and automation test execution efforts
Collaborate with product domain SME to understand requirement and achieve quality deliverables.
Requirements:
Experience Required: 8+ Years
Bachelors in Computer science Degree, preferred
Experience and good understanding of modern web technology test technics.
Experience with automation tests, for UI and APIs using JS framework - Cypress.io is preferred
Experience and good understanding of Webservice and APIs Testing. (POSTMAN or REST Assured) is preferred
Good Understanding various test automation frameworks
Experience building test automation frameworks from scratch and understanding of design principles
Maps business and technical requirements into test suites, test cases and test script
Understanding of CICD implementation through pipeline
Experience in Load testing using JMeter/Load Runner/NeoLoad
Experience in analysing and selection of test tools as per need
Understanding of various QA test metrics and experience in implementing to improve QA process
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Creative, independent, self-motivated and adaptable to learn new technologies
Should be able to write SQL queries and retrieve result set/record set from DB
Good verbal and written communication skill
Added Advantage:
Experience in building test frame works for products deployed in a cloud utilizing cloud service platforms such as AWS, Azure
Experience in the insurance domain - an advantage.
