Your main responsibilities will be:
Developing high-quality SQL queries to fetch and test data for clinical reporting by using backlog requirements to test actually with expected.
Working with multiple teams (UK & Bangalore) to deliver test reports within a Scrum or Kanban methodology.
Supporting PostgreSQL Data Engineers and Visualisation Engineers with data-related queries through the delivery of the reports.
Writing test cases/scenarios, test plans documents, and testing expected with actual requirements thoroughly and reporting bugs and generating testing reports.
Qualifications
You will have:
Minimum of 5 years solid SQL database testing experience.
It is essential that you have strong, in-depth and demonstrable hands-on experience with the following technologies:
Excellent SQL development of complex queries which will be used to fetch, and test expected data.
Understanding complex data structures.
Strong Test analyst skills as well as reporting bugs and test case, test reporting.
Experience of working in fast-paced environments to strict deadlines.
Strong background in data-based testing and automating testing around the same.
Knowledge of UI testing tools such as Selenium / Cypress / other automation testing tool.
Understanding/performed database testing across PostgreSQL/Quicksight platform.
Experience of defining test strategy/test approach.
You will have worked in an Agile/ Kanban environment and be comfortable with fast-paced Sprint Cycles.
Ability and desire to quickly pick up new technologies, languages, and tools
Excellent communication skills
Passionate about code quality and best practices an absolute must
Must show evidence of your passion for technology and continuous learning
Good team player
It is highly desirable that you have good knowledge and understanding of the following platforms and their deployment:
Working with Clinical Data
PostgreSQL administration and optimisation
Understanding of AWS Data Services
Experience working with large and complex data sets as well as experience analysing volumes of data
Possession of certifications.
Any experience of working in highly dynamic teams using agile methodologies under demanding timescales.
Experience of collaborating and knowledge transfer to mixed customer and supplier teams whilst delivering to agreed timelines would be highly beneficial.
