Testing of mobile apps for iPhones, which will interact with Smart TVs and Soundbars
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
3-4 years of experience in Testing of iOS Media applications
Working knowledge of Set Top Box/OTT/CE architecture is an added advantage
Knowledge of MPEG, IPTV, Streaming, ABR/DASH, , DRM & DVB Standards
Knowledge of HDMI, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Discovery, Dolby standards and Airplay
Knowledge of any test management tool (Jira, testrail, Azure)
Experience of software quality processes & development lifecycle
Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and reporting skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferences
Acceptance testing, QA Performance, GUI/Usability testing, Use cases testing
Job Responsibilities
Perform mobile app testing
Document defects and drive them to closure
Work closely with a world wide team of developers, testers, and support personnel
Develop test plans to duplicate issues
Lead the validation testing of failing cases and user test cases
Collect data to assist in root cause failure analysis
Perform ad-hoc testing
Generate test reports
