Job Summary:
As a Sr. Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, design, and execution of system testing on simple to complex implementations. You will be expected to work collaboratively within the department and business units to execute and validate test cases based upon system requirements.
What you will be doing:
Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
Reviewing Test Documents and Quality Assurance reports.
Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Complete manual testing of features or aspects of products according to test plan; identifies opportunities for automation.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
Will do the root cause analysis of problems.
Monitor debugging process & its result.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
What you will bring:
Must have experience between 6-8 years in manual testing.
Ability to write detailed test plans, test scripts, and reports and execute test plans and document results.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical software requirements, specifications.
Should have experience working in API Testing.
Hands-on experience on requirements, test execution & defect tracking.
Hands-on experience/knowledge in Performance Testing automation tools such as JMeter.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
Validate that user expectations are achieved during the testing process.
Strong analytical skills are required to understand, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues.
Review user requirements documents to ensure that requirements are testable.
Ready to learn new tools and technologies.
Should have participated in QA planning from Acceptance testing, Functional testing, Regression testing, System testing perspective.
Should have knowledge of tools used in the QA process for test case organization, bug tracking, etc.
