We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join our game development team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our games by developing and executing test plans and test cases, identifying and reporting issues or bugs that arise, and collaborating with game developers and designers to ensure that the game meets the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gaming, experience in game testing methodologies, be familiar with gaming industry standards, and have the ability to work collaboratively with others to ensure that the game is of high quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure that our games meet quality standards.
Identify, document, and report issues or bugs that arise during game development.
Collaborate with game developers and designers to ensure that identified issues are resolved.
Participate in the design and implementation of new game features, ensuring that they meet quality standards.
Provide feedback to game developers and designers regarding gameplay mechanics, graphics, audio, and user interface.
Work with other team members to ensure that game components are integrated seamlessly.
Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases.
Maintain and update test cases, ensuring that all test scenarios are covered.
Participate in team meetings and provide input regarding game development.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience as a game tester or quality assurance tester.
Knowledge of the gaming industry and gaming trends.
Familiarity with various gaming platforms, including consoles, PCs, VR, and mobile devices.
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues and bugs in complex game environments.
Experience with Test Automation tools (Selenium, Unity test runner etc.)
Experience with bug tracking software, such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Familiarity with game development processes and methodologies is a plus.
