Key job responsibilities:
Accountable for planning and implement automation solutions based on specific needs
Drive Change & Transform Delivery to achieve quality, efficiency cost gains in automation area
Manage and lead QA teams to support multiple portfolio products of ERPs and eCom solutions
Work with QA Managers, business and development teams to understand product vision and requirements
Provide mentoring in proper QA and operational processes and tools
Understanding how all elements (end to end) of the software ecosystem work together at customer sites
Work with your teams to develop QA approaches that fit the overall strategy
Responsible for development of test strategies and creation of appropriate test harnesses
Overseeing the development and execution of test plans, monitoring and reporting on test execution and quality metrics including automation
Working with multiple teams of quality engineering professionals to ensure the highest quality product deliveries and on-time
Provide in house consultancy and delivery of a range of testing services
Continuous learning of customer’s product usage and defect escapes to develop future mitigation strategies
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, ECE or IT.
5+ years of experience building, managing engineering/QA teams.
7+ years of experience with manual and automation testing.
Overall 12+ years of Quality Assurance experience
Experience supervising the design, development, test, release and support of real-world products for customers.
Experience with Agile or Scrum.
Experience in testing web technologies and back-end services. Understanding of Java and .Net technologies.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Additional Skills - BDD, TDD, CICD- Jenkins
Experience in quality assurance for large scale ERP and or e-commerce consumer sites and services
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on technical expertise in automation and latest testing frameworks for cloud and on-prem products
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
A deep understanding of quality assurance in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time
Experience in preparing quality metrics and effectively engaging with stakeholders to set and drive quality goals.
A deep understanding of automation testing by leading engineers who can write automation scripts/programs that will aid in automated testing and reduce regression as well as defect escapes
