As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality and reliability of our e-commerce technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product analysts, product managers and tech support engineers, to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, conduct thorough testing, and identify and report software defects.
You Will:
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly test the functionality, performance, and reliability of our e-commerce technology solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements and functional specifications, ensuring testability and proper coverage.
• Conduct manual testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
• Work closely with developers to reproduce, isolate, and report software defects, and verify their resolutions in a timely manner.
• Participate in the design and implementation of test automation frameworks, tools, and strategies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, and provide clear and detailed bug reports to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure that quality is built into the software development process from the early stages.
• Continuously improve the quality assurance process by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with the customer support team to analyze and address customer-reported issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
• Qualification: BE/ B.Tech/ ME/ M.Tech/ BCA/ MCA
• 2-3 years of prior work experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer, preferably in the e-commerce or SaaS industry.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with manual testing of web-based applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium is a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL and experience in database testing and data validation.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and familiarity with tools like JIRA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple testing tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear and concise bug reports.
• Proactive and self-motivated approach, with a passion for delivering high-quality software products.
