Purpose of the role:
A Quality Assurance Engineer to develop and execute white-box tests as well as automated tests to ensure product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
QA engineer responsibilities include estimating, planning, and coordinating testing activities.
You will also ensure that quality issues and defects are appropriately identified, reproduced, documented, tracked, and resolved in our defect tracking system.
Review requirements specifications and technical documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Key Experience, Skills and Knowledge:
Must have skills:
5-8 years of Manual Testing experience in Functional, Regression, System, Integration and UAT testing.
Must have strong working experience in Web Based Application testing. (Front End & Back End)
Must have hands-on experience in Selenium with POM framework, Junit, TestNG and Cypress.
Must be hands-on with any of the test management and defect tracking tools.
Must have hands-on experience in RESTAPI testing (RestAssured, Jersey client).
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in QA automation
NICE TO HAVE
Exposure using Frontend/Backend development frameworks AngularJS, ReactJS, Node.js
Exposure to open-source Performance benchmarking tools
Selenium, API Testing
