Responsibilities:
Understanding deliverable functionality
Estimating effort, providing delivery dates, and adhering to the commitment
Integration Testing to ensure successful execution in production
Providing feedback to developers on testing results
Make certain documentation is adequate for Production Support
Certifying deliverables are production ready
Actively contribute to best practices
Qualifications
Proficiency in verbal and written English (90%)
3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
Bachelor’s degree in computer science/data processing or equivalent
Familiarity with Data Marts, Data Warehousing and BI reporting
Advanced programming skills (SQL, python, Shell scripting, Spark SQL and spark scripting)
Experience with automation testing
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent understanding of software quality assurance concepts, debugging processes and procedures
Document and report software defects --
Ability to think outside of normal test boundaries
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
Design test processes and procedures used to ensure that software operates within defined requirements.
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
