Your main responsibilities are:
Coordinate, plan, and supervise testing activities during all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
Lead a team of test engineers doing manual, automated and performance testing. Evolve the product regression test suite, processes and standards across all testing phases aligning to industry standard methodologies.
Assess and manage risks and issues and make adjustments as needed to achieve business goals
Help in providing feedback to product and engineering teams to improve quality by analyzing UAT, production issues
Contribute to define the overall QA strategy for Magnum and implement the same in your respective sub-product area
Requirements:
7+ years of experience as a QA engineer or manager, working on digital solutions preferably SaaS in a Product company
Broad technical knowledge and hands-on experience in test methodologies, automation frameworks, performance testing tools etc.
Outstanding technical skills, both functional, non-functional, manual and automation in a CI/CD environment
Proven track record in designing, implementing, executing and supervising an end-to-end testing approach
Strong analytical skills to interpret requirements and devise exploratory test scenarios
Experience in QA mentorship and lead by example an international and multi-cultural technical team spread across different locations
A Personal demeanor that is collaborative and possesses the following values: proactivity, ownership, continuous improvement
Proficient in English (written and spoken).
Domain knowledge of underwriting process or Life insurance business is a plus
Technical requirements:
Database: SQL, MongoDB
Test Management/defect tracking: Preferably JIRA or any other industry recognized tools like HP ALM, TFS etc.
Automation: Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins, JMeter etc.
Web service tools: SOAP UI, SOAP UI Pro, REST, Postman would be an added advantage.
