Create and manages QA strategy and plan
Recruit, hire, mentor, and coach staff at different levels of experience
Establish and improve processes to drive quality upstream and rely on automation to drive efficiency in testing
Experience in Test automation using Java, Selenium WebDriver with TestNG
Expertise in Data Driven Test framework or Test-Driven Development framework
Proven track record to creating and executing on highly effective quality processes
Own and drive operational excellence and improvements in team processes
Effectively Communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings
Strong organizational skills, tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and can synthesize the results
Ensure the team goals are aligned with the company goals
Own process of issue identification and resolution
Work closely with all stakeholders to resolve priority issues and team conflicts
Responsible for mentoring, career development, Goal setting and performance reviews
Build a strong technical culture/environment that allow for individual growth, solutions flexibility, and innovation
Develop functional and performance test plans and cases for internal and external facing software systems
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Assurance Manager is a supervisory role. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new or special assignments.
This role is responsible for hiring, performance management, growth and development of the team.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
12+ years of related experience.
3+ years of experience managing Quality Assurance Teams.
