Role Responsibilities:
The Functional QA Manager will work closely with the Senior QA Manager (based in Singapore) and project delivery teams (Global) to perform Technology Quality Assurance review of critical HK based applications.
Functional QA Manager will be expected to perform a deep dive assurance of the applications based on full lifecycle Software Delivery Framework (SDF) Controls.
The validation of software delivery controls will cover (but not limited to) the following areas
Software testing (Test Strategy, Traceability and Test Evidence across all test phases)
Test Environment Specifications
Environment Monitoring
Operations (validate Application system Run Manual)
Release Management / Deployment Management
Requirements Analysis
Build strong knowledge of Banking functionalities namely iBanking, Cash/Payments, Core Banking areas and provide QA of their technology delivery.
Required to review production incidents and provide deeper reviews of key Software delivery areas deemed as possible causes of previous outages.
Provide training to application teams in the use of the processes and tooling and to support them in the implementation.
Our Ideal Candidate
10 years of proven work experience in banking industry on ibanking, Cash / Payments and Core Banking applications.
Experience in Performing Quality Assurance of Testing Controls or Portfolio Test Manager managing E2E testing delivery of large-scale retail banking projects.
Work Experience / Familiarity with Release Management / Deployment Management (Dev-ops) is desirable.
Work experience to perform Business Analysis is desirable.
Work experience in Production Support role will be an added plus.
Process champion, drives and support teams in adopting new processes.
Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
