Job purpose:
As a Team Lead - quality assurance, you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to streamline operations, utilizing programming languages to create testing scripts, and documenting software testing procedures. You will be required to interface with end users to ascertain areas of improvement, such as cost reduction solutions and automation solutions. The role will also include evaluating the organization's technical infrastructure for security issues.
What will you do?
Assisting in the preparation of test planning memoranda
Drafting audit reports; writing clear and concise findings
Assist the Manager with negotiating, preparing and finalization of findings and corrective action plans with senior client management
Support in estimation and planning for development of the test automation framework
Coordinate with teams to explore requirements & designs and execute acceptance tests and develop quality plans
Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have enough responsibilities in the project
Act as the single point of contact between Development and Testers
Provide day-to-day technical guidance and hands-on help to testing teams
Test Script creation, Manual Test Execution and Defect Reporting
Is able to train quickly and upskill on the Testing and Airline Domain
Used the tools, processes and frameworks provided to effectively carry out their role and meet expectations.
Ensure highest standards are applied to test execution.
Effectively escalates any potential risks or project issues to the Test Lead.
Works with the test and quality team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget
Remains current on industry changes and new developments on test/quality standards and methodologies.
Learns about testing and industry “best practice” and techniques.
What do you need to know?
Strong hands-on experience in Performance Testing, Scalability and Reliability testing and have been responsible for developing and validating related requirements across multiple products
Must have a strong quality focus, driving & motivating teams to achieve QA delivery targets under dynamic circumstances.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, software engineering or related field is required. Master’s degree preferred.
