Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring High testing effectiveness of the Project
Ensure Requirements/Design are base lined and changes to the Baseline Version are documented as Change Request
Signs off the Requirement, Design Documents and all the Change Request
Responsible for creating the Test Plan, Test Specification and Test Scripts Approved
Track the Application Deliverables and Environment availability as per Test Execution Calendar
Identify all the Key Issues and Risks in the Project Deliverables
Creates & Tracks Mitigation Plan for any Slippages on the QA Activities
Determines the Status of the Project based on the Metrics
Contribute to the preparation of Contingency plans for Projects in Yellow /Red Status. Tracks all the action items until closure
Perform Root Cause analysis for all the defects and provide recommendations to Development and Testing Team.
Approve all the Build Migration Deployment Request
Reviews the Production Deployment Change Request
Experience/Knowledge in Automation Testing with UFT/Selenium/Test Complete
Maintain the Requirement Clarification Tracker to manage the Requirement and Design ambiguities
Analyze Requirement with the Project Team
Conduct/Facilitate Requirements & Design walks thru with the Offshore/Onshore Test Team.
Develop Test Plan Document (Scope, Environment, Estimates & Schedule)
Develop a Work Break down Structure with a complete detail of all the QA Activities
Perform Internal Review on Test Specification/Test Script developed by Test team
Conduct Walk through of Test Artifacts with the Project Team / Business Partners
Accurate and timely reporting of progress and time recording
Accountable for Traceability between Requirements and Test Assets
Coordinate with the Development Lead / Operations team and/or a Test environment manager in Identifying or building Stable Test Environments
Develop a Test Script execution Calendar with the Prioritization and Schedule of Test Scripts
Support Business partners during UAT
Create Test Completion report with right metrics
Qualifications
Must Haves
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject with an industry experience of 7-12 years.
